10 Tips To Make Eyes Look Bigger

Well, am sure it would have been her big, beautiful eyes that launched a thousand ships! Women with big bright eyes look attractive and now, you too, can get the look by following some of the tips that are easy and fast. Here they are:
1. Apply the eyeliner along the crease
One way to accentuate your eyes is to apply the eyeliner along the crease of your eyes. This helps restore the natural contours of your eye and makes it big and attractive to look at.
2. Always apply a coat or two with your favorite mascara
It is always better to apply a double coat of your mascara in case your eyelids are scanty and are sliding down. Doubling up with mascaras may add a bounce to your scanty eyelashes, making them appear heavy. When your lashes appear thick, so would your eyes. For covering each and every strand of lash, you can make use of angled brushes.
3. Use a thicker line on your top lashes
In case you want your eyes to look big like a Doe, you can start applying the eyeliner on your top lashes, making sure to coat them thickly, while applying lightly over the corners. It means that you need to concentrate more on the middle part of your eyelashes and go slow as you go towards the corners. This will make your eyes appear big and beautiful, putting all the focus on the middle of your eyes.
4. Curl your lashes
Curling your lashes helps make your eyes appear big. Buy a good curler so that it holds on to your lashes well. Roots should be given emphasis and you must start curling them first. While doing it, make sure that you hold your lashes tight with the curler and press down for some time, thereafter, move it upwards and press again. The whole process can be repeated. Following this process would ensure that your lashes turn out curly instead of looking funny.
5. Always blend in the concealer
There are some funny incidents where I have witnessed women flaunting puffed up faces and eyes, looking more like zombies than earthly creatures! What went wrong? I wonder sometimes! Well, it was the improper application of concealers that gave the impression. Hold on ….this disaster can be stopped! Simply, after applying a concealer under your eye region, make sure that you blend it nicely with your skin tone using a cotton wool. This will remove any blotches or streaks that may appear unsightly. Avoid using finger tips as this will not serve the purpose. Merge the concealer well, extending towards your temple.
6. Apply two different colours of the same family
It simply means application of two separate colours that belong to the same colour group, like, shades of pink. You can choose to apply two shades of pink on your eyes, namely, baby pink and dark shimmering pink to have a dazzling effect. Doing this will surely make your eyes look big and will add glamour.
7. Make use of soft kohl eye pencils
For best results, you can apply kohl eye pencils that are available in all cosmetic stores. However, you need to try putting soft colours that would make your eyes look big and bright. I have one trick that makes my eyes look glamorous. This involves using any soft coloured kohl pencil upwards to create the style of the sixties. The best part about using kohl is that you do not have to worry about blending it on your skin. It merges well around the creases.
8. Do not over pluck your eyebrows
One reason why so many of us start looking like cartoons is the habit of over tweezing or plucking our brows. Yes, many women do this and end up having very little hair on their brows, and this makes their eyes look small and unattractive. The trick lies in plucking the exact number of hair, and not going overboard with it. Try using a pencil and apply it lightly over your hair that you want plucked. This will save the others from getting removed accidently. Be sure of what you don’t need, and what needs to be saved!
9. Don’t opt for smoky look
Though, the smoky look is the most wanted style demanded by many women, yet, I feel that it makes your eyes small. Instead, go for some bright colours like bright pink, blue and green that would accentuate your eye region and would make them seem bigger.
10. Use peach concealers
You can discard any yellow coloured concealers, simply because they make the eyes smaller and have to be avoided, in case you have small eyes. Instead try using peach coloured concealers that prevent dark circles from making a public appearance! Peach coloured concealers work best for small eyes and lend volume.
